To bulgarian solicitors: "Why, in 50 years, being opposed to same-sex marriage will carry the same stigma as being racist today."

I believe it already carries the same stigma - then again, perhaps I'm just ahead of my time? It's sad that we can't just learn from history and realize that any discrimination is just plain wrong. If voting on the "issue" of same sex marriage is allowed, why can't we vote on the "issue" of heterosexual marriages? Can you imagine if you replaced "same sex marriage" with "heterosexual marriage" in any of the bills that are passed? Or to try to make it illegal for heterosexual couples to adopt? It's just plain logic and reason.

I'm a straight female and I'm mad as hell that my fellow citizens are being discriminated against. We really must stand tall and DEMAND equal rights for all.

lol: "it’s very difficult to judge which side one, if any."

cool site--i had no idea you had one. for political blogs, though, i think it'd be better if you veered away from the breezy modifiers (i.e. "Obama wasn’t so optimistic about Pakistan"), but yeah... i don't really understand these big words: economic, democracy, policy, and all that other political jazz you kids are into these days. me not follow straight society. but i do know a bit about grammar--you might want to watch out for bland transitional phrases and add "sic" after some questionable material: "McCain brought up... that [he] is a more experienced senator (sic)."
overall, nice. informative and intelligent :]

are there going to be any blogs watching sc2? according to best buy, it'll be released beginning of december (hint, hint--i'm linking you to best buy for a reason :] )

Nice post. We read a lot about this (water/policy) in Econ (and Malthusian economics, yay), so none of what you've written is really new...People view water as a sacred entitlement and not like a scarce resource. I'd like to see more expansion on how a "global water-sharing plan" might be developed. :P
